How amazing would it be if you felt confident asking for the support that you need at work to enable you to do a good job without making your health worse

How amazing would it be if you could learn techniques to help release the stress of work and to plan your day around your energy levels

If you’re finding yourself nodding along to all this, you’re not alone…

There can be a better way of navigating the world of work whilst also looking after your health.

Often when you are working, you may find yourself caught in a boom and bust cycle with your health.

Many employees with chronic illnesses notice that when they push themselves to meet deadlines and workplace demands, their health cannot always keep pace. This can lead to flare ups of symptoms, which may then require time off work to recover. Over time, this cycle can affect your health, confidence, career progression and personal life.

It can make a real difference to look at your work in terms of energy investment. Understanding which tasks, working patterns and environments help you to conserve energy and reduce stress allows you to manage your condition more effectively. Feeling confident about asking for reasonable adjustments can also ensure that your role supports rather than undermines your wellbeing.

This is why it is so important to choose the right career path for you, to recognise where your strengths lie and to find the work strategies that fit with your health, lifestyle and future goals. With the right support, you can balance managing your symptoms with building a fulfilling and sustainable career.

Which is why I’m soooo excited to introduce:

Employee Power Hour!

In a power hour session we will take 60 minutes to look at your situation and explore what is working well and what could be adjusted. Taking the time to look at the options you have in your current role, or for your next career step, can help ensure that your work is in alignment with your health. This focused session gives you the space to think through your choices, understand the adjustments that may support you, and make decisions that help you to move forward with confidence.
